新年、明けましておめでとうございます。

本年もよろしくお願いいたします。

メンタル・イデア・ラボ代表のスミです。旧年中はコラムをお読みいただき、誠にありがとうございました。本年も引き続きお読みいただければ幸甚に存じます。

さて、年が明けて早速、東京、埼玉、神奈川、千葉に緊急事態宣言が発令されることになりました。それだけで気分は滅入り気味です。昨年の春に緊急事態宣言が発令され、リモートワークが叫ばれました。今ではリモートワークも一定程度の定着をみせているようです。しかし、その弊害も生まれました。

その弊害は報道されることは滅多にないのでわかりにくいですが、よく聞くのはプライベートと仕事の切り替えが上手くできない、長時間労働になって疲れる、など人それぞれですが、弊害は確実に発生しています。

そしてまた緊急事態宣言の発令・・・メンタルがますます不安に包まれやすい環境になります。疲弊と言ってもいいかもしれません。ちょっと深刻な様相を呈してきています。よく『心が折れる』と言われますが、その前になんとかできないか、という思いで２０１９年にメンタル・イデア・ラボを立ち上げました。経営陣はじめ社員のメンタルを少しでもケアし、ストレス緩和、低減のヒントを一人ひとりに合った方法で提供しています。

ぜひ企業の人事・労務ご担当者の方は、社員のメンタルに今こそ目を向けてもらいたいと思います。社員の『心が折れてしまった』後では、組織にとってもいいことはありません。リモートワークを推奨するということは社員の顔が見えなくなる、ということなので、メンタルケアの体制を同時に確立する時期だと思います。急速なストレスに個人で対処するにはあまりにも負担が大きいと推察します。その急速なストレスの緩和・低減をサポートする環境の整備が必要な時にきているのではないか、と思わずにはいられません。
