“拗らせ系自称ＨＳＰ”についてモヤる私が感じていること。

インターネットに溢れ返るＨＳＰ自己診断、やってみた人もいるのではないでしょうか。

※ＨＳＰ：Highly Sensitive Personの略。高度な感覚・感受性を『気質』として持つとされる人。

今回はＨＳＰについてですが、ＨＳＰはＨＳＰでも“拗らせ系メンドクサイ”ＨＳＰについて書こうと思います。

ＨＳＰ自己診断、あれだけの項目があるので、いくら大雑把と言われる私でも幾つか思い当たる項目はありました。よく当たると評判の占い師がバーナム効果を最大限活用しているように、一つも当てはまらない人はまずいないでしょう。

私は共感力も高く（だからと言って、人並み外れて優しいわけではありません）、雨上がりの澄んだ空気を五感で感じ、パートナーとは漂う沈丁花や金木犀の香りで季節の移り変わりや、降り始める前の雨の匂いや降り始めた土に染みる匂いについて語り、楽しみます。

でも、周りにイライラしている人や怒鳴っている人がいたり、臭いがキツくても「あらやだ、そんなに感情的に怒りを爆発させるならアンガーマネジメントやったほうがいいんじゃないの？」「クサイ。ヤダけど仕方ない。あっち行こ」と思うだけで特別ストレスを感じないので、雑と言われる非ＨＳＰのようです（笑）実際、人が叱られていても理不尽な理由で怒鳴られ、絡まれているのでなければ、まったく気になりません。

一つのものを見て、多くの情報を取り入れ深く処理する、ともありましたが・・・。

ひまわりを見て「ひまわりってどこでどう日照を認識して向きを変えるんだろう？」「そういえば、ひまわりの種はフィポナッチ数？あれ、何かの黄金比じゃなかったっけ？」「紫陽花は土壌ｐＨで花の色が変わるけど、ひまわりは無関係なんだ」「ひまわりの種、美味しいよな〜、リス案外グルメ」「種のシマシマって植物の生存戦略的に意味あるのかな」くらいは私でも一瞬で深く考えます（どうでもいいことですが・笑）

ＨＳＰの概念自体はもちろん理解していますが、

発達障害のような“障害”ではなく、多くの精神科医同様、ただの【気質】

と捉えています。

“人一倍繊細”は“人一倍怒りっぽい”、“人一倍短気”、“人一倍心配性”、“人一倍飽きっぽい”などと同じ、気質的なもの

という考えです。

実際、ＡＳＤ孤立型のパートナーは、繊細で感性豊かで感受性も強く、言葉や文字での表現は秀逸で、感動ポイントは違いますがとても感動しやすい面も持ち合わせています。そしてＨＳＰの特徴として挙げられる、人混みやうるさい場所が苦手だったり（感覚過敏）、一度に幾つものことを並行しておこなうことは苦手ですし、周りから休みなく多くの情報を受け取り処理する脳は人一倍疲れやすいので、脳を休めるために独りになり、自分のペースで静かに過ごす時間も絶対に必要です。

またパートナーは、痛みや体のわずかな変化にはとても敏感ですし、認知スタイルの違いから傷つきやすい心の持ち主で、感情の折り合いをつけることに時間がかかるので不器用なほうです。とても人見知りで、初めての人と接する場面は凄まじく疲れるそうです。見た目がそうでなくても、他者と信頼関係を築くのに、もの凄く時間がかかりますし（私は経験者です）、時間をかけて注意深く丁寧且つ論理的に物事を考えるので、とても慎重です。

繊細でさまざまな敏感さを持っていても、パートナーはＨＳＰではありません。

ＨＳＰとは違い、譲れないこだわりや共感力の弱さがあるのは事実ですが、前記の繊細さや敏感さ、疲れやすさやストレスの受け方はＡＳＤ（あるいは他の発達障害）の人が大なり小なり持ち合わせている大きな特徴でもあります。

今現在ＨＳＰは明確な診断基準がなく、当然ガイドラインもないため、クリニックを受診しても“ＨＳＰ”と診断されることはありません。

インターネットの自己診断で自認すればＨＳＰであるようです。つまり『言った者勝ち』『あくまでも自称』ということになります。

「えっ！？あなたがＨＳＰですか！？」と意外と思うような芸能人もＨＳＰだと告白していますね。５人に１人がＨＳＰと言われているそうです。これを「案外いるんだな」と捉えるか「５人に４人は違うわけね」と捉えるかはその人次第です。ちなみに私は後者です。

全員がそうとは思っていませんが、このＨＳＰ・・・いや、ＨＳＰを拗らせた“ＨＳＰを免罪符にする（無意識にでも）面倒くさい系自称ＨＳＰ”とでも言いましょうか、これがかなり厄介な人になる可能性があるのです。どういうことかというと、下記のようなことが考えられます。

●とても傷つきやすい　
→ だから傷付かないように言葉を選び、（私にとって）優しく穏やかに話してほしい。

●雰囲気(表情)や空気から先回りして人の感情を読み過ぎてストレスを感じやすい
→だから私の周りでは怒鳴り声や大きな声やキツイ言い方はやめて、穏やかな表情でいてほしい。

●先回りして物事を考えてしまう
→だから一度にいろんなことを言わないでほしい。

●驚きやすい
→だから大きな音を立てたり、いきなり驚かすようなことはやめてほしい。

●匂いにも敏感で気持ち悪くなったり頭が痛くなる
→だから香水や強い匂いの柔軟剤はやめてほしい・・・。

などなど、無言の過剰配慮を求めているように受け取られたり、思われてしまう危険があるからです。

確認もせず勝手に相手の気持ちを先回りして考えたり、感情を決めつけるのは危険なことで、

それでいちいち落ち込まれたり、ムッとされると“とても面倒な人”になってしまいます。空気（あるいは顔色）を読むことは悪いことではありませんし、役立つ場面も多いと思います。でも、空気（あるいは顔色）を読み過ぎてヘロヘロに疲れてしまったり、ムッとして能面のような顔になって（本人自覚なし）、勝手に決めつけた独りよがりな感情でケンケンしたつっけんどん気味な対応になるのでは、結局自分も相手も凄まじく疲弊させるストレスフルな人間関係しか築けなくなります。

「気にし過ぎ」と言われること自体「気にし過ぎな私が悪いんだろうか？」と被害的に受け取り、「気になるんだから仕方ないじゃない」と傷つくそうですが、そうではなく「今私はこの人の気持ちを決めつけて考えていないかな？聞いて確かめてないんだから本当はどう思ってるかわからないよな、ただ私には聞けないなぁ、だったら確かめようはないんだから、私はこの人の気持ちは本当はわからないんだ、機嫌悪い（ように見える）のは私とは違う問題」と諦めましょう。

確認もしていないのに、他者の気持ちや感情を勝手に深読みして決めつけられるのは・・・それがプライベートの時間であれば、私ならコミュニケーションコストがかかり過ぎるとても面倒な人と感じます。

ＨＳＰと発達障害は併発する、という見方もあるようですが、それについても私は懐疑的です。ＨＳＰにも発達障害（グレー含む）の人が持つ繊細さや敏感さに重複する特徴が多く見られますが、身近にＡＳＤ孤立型のパートナー、発達障害重複で取り扱いが面倒な息子がいて、その困り感を熟知しているだけにＨＳＰが発達障害と重複するという考えには違和感を覚えます。

発達障害特性から苦手なことや困り感があれば、医師の診断書や障害者手帳を根拠に、学校や会社である程度の合理的配慮をお願いすることも可能ですが、それが単なる“気質”だと客観的根拠となるものがないため難しいものがあります。

もし、単なる“気質”というＨＳＰの人への配慮が認められるなら、例えば「私は人一倍怒りっぽいので、短気な私を怒らせないような言い方をしてください」や「私は人一倍飽きっぽいので、やる気が起きる飽きさせない仕事をさせてください」も気質という点で、まかり通ることになり収拾がつかなくなります。現実にそれはあり得ませんよね。

自分が短気で怒りっぽいと自覚があるなら、それはその人自身が解決しなくてはいけない“課題”ですし、飽きっぽいなら、自分で見方を変えたり取り組みを考えるという“その人自身の課題”です。そういうことに周囲や組織に配慮を求めようと思わないのが一般的ではないでしょうか。

どちらにも言えることですが、まずは“短気で怒りっぽい”“飽きっぽい”を自覚し、そんな自分を受け止めることです。“短気”はなかなか直すことが難しくても、“怒りっぽい”はアンガーマネジメントを身につけることで自分自身がラクになり、行動変容に繋がることで人間関係の軋轢を生みにくくなります。

よく“あなたはあなたのままでいい”と言いますが、それは適切でもあり不適切でもあります。

“あなたはあなたのままでいい”が、あなた自身をストレスフルに追い込み苦しめ、関わる人たちを疲れさせているようなら、“あなたのままでいい”なんて言えませんから。

イライラしやすい、怒りの沸点が低く怒りを感じやすい。そこには自分に原因があり理由があります。
