重たいタイトルですが、そのままです。
（発達）障害を持つ子供の親として日常生活を送る中で、黒い点だったものがいつしか私の胸にモヤモヤと広がっていき、その出所を辿っていった先にあったのがタイトルの【障害を免罪符にしてはいけない】という思いでした。
重複発達障害を持つ息子は、いずれ自分に合ったライフハックを見つけ、社会生活を営むために自身や工夫しながら生活スタイルを整えていく必要がありますが、今はまだ中学生なので日常生活のあらゆる場面で声がけや配慮が必要です。
何でもできるスーパーマンみたいな人間はこの世に存在しませんが、障害故にできないこと、苦手なことが人よりも多くあり、誰かの手や声がけ（今はもっぱら親の手と声がけ）を必要としなくてはいけない場面がこの先もあると思います。
息子には早い段階で障害告知をしていて、段階的に特性を伝え、理解に繋げていっている最中です。どう頑張ってもできないことがあるのは仕方ないことですが、「そのくらいやってくれたっていいじゃん！」「僕にはＡＤＨＤがあるんだからやってくれて当たり前じゃん」という言葉が出た時には思いっきり叱り飛ばしました。
サポートしてもらうのは“当たり前”ではないのです。
「配慮やサポートはやってもらって当然」この考えは（定型、身体障害、発達障害問わず）とても危険です。サポートする側が『困っている人を助けるのは人として当たり前』と考えるのと、サポートをしてもらう側が『やってくれて当たり前』と考えるのは大きな違いがあります。
「気をつけてメモを取るように心掛けていますが、忘れっぽいところや他の作業に取り組んでいる時には、他に注意が向きにくいのでひと声かけてくれたら助かります」が本来の気の持ち方だと思っているのです。これが「忘れっぽいって言ったんだから声かけてくれてもいいじゃない（声かけてくれるのが“当たり前”）」だと、誰も協力したり力になろうという気は起きません。障害があろうとなかろうとだと思います。
障害がない人でも、誰かの手やサポートを必要とすることがあります。例えば、外国人と接する時、英語を話せない場合。身近に英語を話せる人がいれば力を借りようとしませんか？その時『俺は（私は）英語が話せないんだから、話せるあなたが相手をするのは当たり前！』と思うでしょうか。大概は「英語を話せないので、ちょっとお願いしてもいいですか？」に自然と態度がなっているはずです。障害があってもこの心持ちが大切だと思うのです。
【やってもらって当たり前】
とても傲慢な考えに思えませんか？少なくとも私にはその姿勢が傲慢で偉そうに感じます。そんな態度をされたら、とても不愉快になると思います。
【共生社会】
とても良い言葉ですし、理念も素晴らしいと思います。それには障害があろうとなかろうと「お手間お掛けします」「いえいえお互い様ですから」「ありがとうございます、助かります」「何かあったら声をかけてくださいね」・・・支援や配慮を何もしたくない、と言っているわけではありません。お互いに気持ちよく社会生活を送る上で、この姿勢が何より大切なのではないか？と考えているのです。どちらかが不愉快な思いをしたり、我慢を強いられる社会は共生とは言えません。
不必要に腰を低く「申し訳ありません」「すみません、ごめんなさい」と生きろなんて、これっぽっちも思いません。
「ごめんなさい／申し訳ありません」も「ありがとう／ありがとうございます」も魔法の言葉ですが、支援や配慮に対しては「ありがとう／ありがとうございます／助かります」の気持ちが何より大切な気がするのです。所謂、【謙虚な姿勢】ですね。
恥ずかしながら私は並外れた方向音痴で、いつもパートナーには手間をかけさせていますが「方向音痴でごめんね」ではなく「いつもありがとう、助かる！」です。これが「方向音痴って知ってるんだから教えてくれたっていいじゃない／教えてくれるのが当たり前だよね」だと、わかっていてもパートナーはカチン！とくるはずです。（実際パートナーに、もし私がそういう態度だったらどう思う？と聞いたことがありますが、「方向音痴以前に人としてダメだ」と言われました）
何が違うのかというと【感謝】の気持ちを常に持っていることです。
「わかってくれて当然」「やってくれて当たり前」
どんなに関係や距離が近くても自分以外この世は全部他者です。あなたを気遣ってくれるのは、気遣ってくれる人のあなたへの“好意”や“愛情”で、それは当たり前ではない、とわかると感謝の気持ちが生まれるのではないでしょうか。夫婦関係にも通じるかもしれませんね。
