益々Ｓの束縛は強くなり、要求の難易度は高くなっていきましたが、共依存にどっぷりズブズブになっていた私は、『いつも孤独で誰にも理解されないツラさを味わってきたＳのことを私だけは理解したい』と必死に彼女を包み込もうとしました。

寂しい、会いたい、そばにいてほしい、誰にも邪魔されたくない、私をわかってくれるのはハルちゃんだけ。

どのメールにもＳが望む“解（レス）”があり、それ以外のレスだとＯＤ（オーバードーズ：薬の過剰摂取）をし、手首を切り、失踪を仄めかすメール。そこに私の意思や感情が入り込む隙間はなく、少しでも（否定ではない）意見をしようものなら、手首を切り目を離した隙に首を吊ろうとし、ベランダから飛び降りようとする・・・。そして私の知らないＳ側の人間を持ち出し「〇〇もそう言ってた」と、人格すべて否定するような凄まじい暴言がエンドレスに続きました。

メンタル安定タイプの私でもゴリゴリ削られ疲弊してきた頃、ついに決定的な出来事が起こりました。

Ｓと過ごしていた時に抗いようのない睡魔に襲われ（どうやら医師から処方されている睡眠導入剤を盛られたらしい）、目が覚めるとＳの小指と私の小指がきつく糸で結ばれ、指先に鈍く痛むかなり深い何かの刺傷がありました。

Ｓは目覚めた私に「ハルちゃんは絶対に私のこと見捨てないよね？何があっても捨てないよね？信じていいんだよね？」と言い、私は「気持ちはそうでも今のままだと現実難しくなるから、一緒にいるためにはどうしていくことが一番かを考えようよ」とフラフラしながら答えました。私の前に座るＳの手には血のついた千枚通しが握られていました。

絶対無理心中する気だと思いましたが、幸い眠っている間に刺されたのは小指の先だけで、他には傷はありませんでした。そしてＳは互いの血を飲み“一生離れない”という誓いを立てると言うのです。

まだ睡眠導入剤が残るぼんやりとした頭で私は『ヤクザの盃みたいに皿は和紙に包んで持っておくのか？』などと呑気に考えていましたが、少しずつ覚醒していくにつれ、“勝手に睡眠導入剤を盛られたこと”、“何の承諾もなく千枚通しで小指を刺され採血されたこと”、“わけのわからない一方的な気色悪い血の誓いの要求”・・・と、体の深いところから猛烈に怒りが込み上げ、腹が立ってきました。

それ以上に目の前にいるＳがモンスターにしか見えず、「絶対引っ越そう、黙って引っ越して携帯も番号変えて死ぬ気で逃げ切らないとダメだ！逃げ切れなかったら大蛇に喰わせてやる！」とかなりぶっ飛んだ考えしか浮かびませんでした。

とにかく気持ち悪い血の誓いだけは避けなくてはいけないので、必死にＳが喜びそうな言葉を並べ、逃げも隠れもしないと話し、その日はＳの好物を作り機嫌を取り（当時の私史上最大で盛大なゴマすり）、表面上穏やかに過ごすことに徹しました。

Ｓと別れた後は夜逃げ屋本舗にお願いする勢いで、その日のうちに部屋を引き払い、職場には事情を話して退職したことにしてもらいました。当然携帯は即刻解約。当時のイベント関係の友人知人から足が付かないように一切の連絡を断ち、２年以上経ってようやく「逃げ切れた・・・かも」と思えるようになりました。

その後Ｓは違法薬物に手を染めてしまったらしいという噂は耳にしましたが、どうなったかはわかりませんし、知りたくもありませんでした。
