年明け最初の私のコラムはアサーションについてです。
人間関係をスムーズに構築し持続させていくため（相互理解にも役立ちます）のコミュニケーションスキルであるアサーションには、プライベートで使いやすいものからビジネスに有効なものまで、いくつかの技法があります。
今回はビジネスに有効な【ＤＥＳＣ法】を説明していきます。
ＤＥＳＣ法は他者を不快にせず自分の伝えたいことを伝え、相手に納得感を持たせるコミュニケーション技法で、アメリカの心理学者、ゴードン・バウワーにより提唱されました。
- Describe：描写する
- Express：説明する
- Suggest：提案する
- Choose：選択する
の頭文字を取り、ＤＥＳＣ法と呼びます。
Ｄ→Ｅ→Ｓ→Ｃの順にコミュニケーションを展開させ、納得性の高い結果を導いていくスキルなので、特にビジネスにおいて有効なアサーションスキルと言えます。
【相手を思いやりながら自分の意見を伝える】というアサーションの基本があるのはもちろんです。
ＤＥＳＣ法はアサーションスキルを体系的にまとめ、“Ｄ”“Ｅ”“Ｓ”“Ｃ”の４つのステップに分類したもので、このステップでコミュニケーションを進めることにより、有効な意思伝達をおこない相手の納得感を高めます。
