ひと口に思考と言っても、今は“〜シンキング”というものが流行りのようで、多くの思考法が溢れています。
よく聞く言葉に『ポジティブシンキング』がありますが、今回はポジティブ、ネガティブという“捉え方”ではなく、
“如何に考えるか？”
という思考方法の話です。

思考は、
- 思考を広げる（幅）／水平思考／ラテラルシンギング
- 思考を絞り込む（深さ）／垂直思考／ロジカルシンキング
大きくこのふたつに分けられ、
- 思考を疑う／クリティカルシンキング
を合わせて３つの思考法と言います。
ラテラル
ロジカル
クリティカル
この３つのシンキングについて話を進めていきたいと思います。
重ねての説明になりますが、それぞれ
●ラテラルシンキング → 水平思考（幅） ●ロジカルシンキング → 垂直思考（深さ／論理的思考） ●クリティカルシンキング → 批判的思考
で、ロジカルシンキングは論理的課題解決力と言えます。
ロジカルシンキング＝課題解決力、というと何が何でもロジカルシンキングが良い！と思い込みがちですが、必ずしもそうではありません。
ロジカルシンキングは考えねばならない一つの課題に対し論理を構築し、より深く考察していく考え方で、ラテラルシンキングとは、前提や過去の情報に捉われず、斬新な解決策を模索する、広がりのある自由な考え方です。
クリティカルシンキングは“批判的思考”と訳されますが、決して攻撃的な意味ではありません。
これでいいのだろうか？本当に〇〇は△△なのか？と
前提を疑う思考法
です。解決すべき課題に対し、自らの考えを疑う（疑問を持つ）、です。
わかりやすいのはテストの見直しですね。
「この公式で出した解だから正解に決まっている」という気持ちで見直しをしても、間違いを見つけられないことがあります。
「この問題を解くのに、この公式でよかっただろうか？」という気持ちで見直しをする、これが見直しをする上でとても大切になります。
クリティカルシンキングを心掛けるために、陥りやすい幾つかのバイアスがあるので意識しておく必要があります。そのバイアスは次のとおりです。
▷都合の良い結論ありきで考えてしまう。 ▷自身の中にある記憶や知識だけに頼る。 ▷情報をアップデートせず、最初に得た初期情報に依存する。 ▷反対に、アップデートされた情報だけを頼り、初期情報を蔑ろにする。 ▷うまくいかなかった時に他責方向で考える。 ▷自身の知識や体験にこだわり、ニュートラルな視点で発想できない。

時と場合によっては、ラテラルシンキングで多角的に広がりをもって考え、ロジカルシンキングでより深掘りし、クリティカルシンキングで疑問を投げかけ検証し、さらに考えに修正を加え研鑽していく・・・が、最善の解を導き出す方法であったりもします。
どの考え方が一番良い、ということではなく、いろいろな思考法をバイアスを取っ払い柔軟に駆使しながら課題解決に取り組む、この姿勢こそが大事なのではないかと思うのです。
