- 複数のタスクを同時にこなす必要がある飲食業（料理人・ホール）
- 変更に対し臨機応変さが求められる旅行業
- 柔軟な対応が求められる顧客窓口（コールセンター・窓口業務など）
- 管理能力や高度な協調性、スキルが求められる人事、経理
これらは一般的に発達障害を持つ人には不向きと言われています。
では、向いている職業を考えてみましょう。
- 視覚優位で視覚的な才能が活かせるカメラマン、各種デザイナー、イラストレーター、画家、広告・映像関係（クリエイティブ系）、漫画家など
- 人と密に関わるよりも機械などが相手の各種技師、整備士、技工士、校正校閲士、プログラマー、システムエンジニアなど
- 変化に富み、刺激のある記者、マスコミ関係、カメラマン、警察官、プロデューサーなど
- 専門的知識を活用する学者、研究者など
私は一時期Ｆ１レーサーに憧れたことがありましたが、オートバイ以外の運転がからっきしダメでド下手なので、周りから運転免許取得も止められたくらいです。もはやレーサー云々の話ではありません（笑）

発達障害でいわゆる【手帳】を持っている人もいます。手帳がなくても、周りに特性をカミングアウトしてのオープン就労、逆に一切伝えないクローズド就労があります。
雇用側に障がい（特性）を伝え、特性に応じた配慮をお願いして働くことをオープン就労と言い、雇用側に一切の特性を伝えず配慮も求めないで働くことをクローズド就労と言います。
クローズド就労は一般枠就労、手帳があり障害告知をし特性に応じた配慮をお願いして働くと障害者枠になります。
オープン、クローズドどちらにもメリット、デメリットがあり、特性の種類や度合いによってはオープン就労が良いケースもあります。
メリット、デメリットについて説明します。
【オープン就労メリット】 ▶︎職業選択肢が広く、正規雇用が多い。 ▶︎給与面で一般従業員と同等。 ▶︎特別扱いされない。 ▶︎理解がないなど偏見の目で見られない。 【オープン就労デメリット】 ▷正規雇用枠が少なくなる。 ▷障害者支援制度があっても使えない。 ▷ジョブコーチが会社に訪問しても支援できない。 ▷さまざまな能力を求められるので特性にマッチした仕事を探すのが難しい。 ▷特性に理解のある上司や産業医がいるとは限らない。 ▷医療機関への通院時間の確保が難しい。
