９月になりました。まだ少し暑さは残るものの、朝夕は涼しくなりました。

ツクツクボウシの鳴き声がどこか寂しく聞こえました。今年は３年ぶりにコロナによる行動制限のない夏でしたね。梅雨明けもとても早かったです。

個人的には今年の夏は、例年にまして夏らしいことをした気がします。かといって大したことはしていないのですが、少し子供時分に戻って夏を愉しんだように思います。

まず西瓜を食べました。酷暑と言ってもいいぐらい、とても暑い日だったことを覚えています。その中で食べる西瓜は格別美味しかったことが印象的でした。

冷やし中華を食べました。近所の蕎麦屋が冷やし中華を出していたので食べてみました。私は醤油・味醂・酢のタレというのでしょうか、具の種類や麺が私の好みにぴったりの冷やし中華で、箸が止まらないほど美味しかったです。蕎麦屋の冷やし中華ということで少し侮っていました（笑）以来、その蕎麦屋では数回冷やし中華を食べました。

江の島へ行きました。江の島は毎年の恒例になっていますが、今年も行きました。海沿いを自転車で走りました。江ノ電の線路沿いを走りながら、稲村ヶ崎まで行きましたが暑いながらも気持ちよかったです。

その前に江の島ではかき氷も食べました。甘味処のかき氷は氷がふわふわで、口の中でサラッと溶けてなくなる食感はなんとも言えませんでした。ちなみにあずきを食べました。みぞれ味にあんこが入ったかき氷です。

そして、今年の夏は花火をやりました。実に数十年ぶり。中学生になってからやったことがなかったかもしれません。それをあえてやってみました。火薬の匂いが懐かしかったですね。線香花火もしましたが、先端の火の玉が途中で落ちてばかりでした（笑）

また、ラムネは飲みましたがサイダーを飲むことをうっかり忘れてしまいました。ご当地サイダーが好きなので、来年の夏はサイダーをまず飲みたいと思います。

そしてぼちぼち秋刀魚の声も聞こえてきました。生秋刀魚の塩焼きはこの時期しか食べられないので、今年は最低三尾は食べたいな、と思っています（笑）
