最近は認知症という意味だけでなく、“認知”“認知の歪み”という単語もよく聞くようになってきましたよね。
今回は中学生でもわかる内容で、“認知の歪み”について、とても簡単にわかりやすく説明しようと思います。
認知とは平たく言うと、
その人のものの捉え方
その人の持つ思考スタイル
と言えます。それでは“認知の歪み”とは一体どんなものなのでしょうか。
読者の皆さんは、こんなところはありませんか？
- 一度失敗したら二度と挑戦しようとしない。
- 「いつも」「絶対に」ダメだと思ってしまう。
- ついネガティブな想像をしてしまう。
- １００点でなければ０点も同じだと考える。
- 理由は特にないのに自信がない。
それは、もしかしたら“認知の歪み”が原因で引き起こされているかもしれません。

例えば会社でＡさんがＢさんに挨拶をして、Ｂさんから返答がなかったとしましょう。Ａさんが『Ｂさんは私をわざと無視した！』と考えれば“怒り”が生まれます。怒りが生まれると、今度はＡさんがＢさんを無視したり、嫌な態度を取るかもしれません。こうした思考スタイルが重なって人間関係がギクシャクしていくこともあります。
もしＡさんが『私の声が小さくて聞こえなかったのかも』『Ｂさんは何かに夢中だったのかも』などと考えれば、怒りは生まれませんよね。怒りが生まれなければＡさんはＢさんを無視したり、冷たくすることはないでしょう。
『私は何をやってもダメだから、次も絶対うまくいかない』
『前に失敗したからまた失敗する』
『周りのみんなに嫌われてるに違いない』
など、
現実に違うかもしれない思い込みや捉え方、考え方を“認知の歪み”と呼びます。
誰でも落ち込むことはありますし、落ち込んだ時にネガティブになってしまうことはありますが、それが毎日続いて気持ちがツラくなっていませんか？
認知の歪みは自覚するだけでも効果があります。もし出来そうなら、他の考え方や捉え方を探してみましょう。
一人では難しいので、家族や信頼できる身近な人に自分の考え方について客観的にアドバイスをもらったり、専門家に相談することもオススメです。
